Selling a car

Sell us your BMW, Porsche or Mercedes-Benz.

We buy at wholesale auction every week in the Portland, Oregon area, so putting a number on a car is the job here rather than a favour.

And because we part cars out as well as sell them, a car that is too far gone to retail is still worth something. Salvage title, blown engine, sat under a tarp for three years: still worth telling us about.

The car

Tell us what it is.

Six things we need and two we would like. No photographs at this stage, and we are not going to ask what you want for it before we have told you what we think.

What happens next

  1. 1.0

You send the car, not yourself

The form beside this. It takes a minute, and we do not need your address to price a car.

  2. 2.0

We price it the way we price an auction car

The same appraisal we do in a wholesale lane with our own money on it, pointed at yours.

  3. 3.0

You get a number, or a straight no

If it is not a car for us we will say so rather than go quiet. If we want photographs we ask after the number, not before.

Trim is most of the price on these cars, so include it if you know it.
Roughly is fine.
Salvage does not put us off. We part cars out as well as sell them.
A VIN decodes to trim, options and build date, so it is the difference between a number and an accurate one.
Faults included. They do not scare us, and finding them later is what kills a deal.
A phone number or an email address. Whichever you would rather we used.
